La Tarraula is the ground floor apartment of a large villa set in a 2000m2 (half an acre) garden. The apartment has it's own entrance and has been recently renovated to a very high standard. This one bedroom holiday accommodation consists of a comfortable living room, an attractive kitchen area, double bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in shower cubicle.
The living room has a 27in television with UK free-view channels, a DVD player, CD player and radio, and comfortable furniture. The modern kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge, microwave oven. A large range of cutlery, crockery and cooking dishes are supplied for comfortable home catering and the bedroom has a super kingsize double bed that can be made into two single beds if required. A washing machine is available for guests to use and there is an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.
With combined air conditioning/heater units covering the whole of the apartment, this holiday apartment is also suitable for winter holidays and guests have complete control over the time and temperature of the cooling and heating. The air-conditioning units are the inverter inverter type units that use about 40% less electricity than normal units. For security and safety the apartment has a safe for guests' use, smoke alarms, a CO2 detector and has been awarded a gas safety certificate.
The villa is situated in a very quiet residential area, The garden is secluded and spacious and there is ample secure parking on the drive. There is a large 10m x 5m swimming pool accessed via 6 steps. Outside the apartment is a terrace with sun beds, table, chairs, portable barbecue and sunshade to make your time by the pool comfortable and relaxing. You can enjoy the warm Mediterranean evenings beside the private pool with a glass of wine, or go for a late night dip in the pool which has underwater lighting. This apartment contains every amenity for a relaxing holiday.
Since the apartment is situated below the villa, guests may occasionally find the owners using the pool or garden. Pets are welcome by arrangement but please note that the owners have two friendly dogs and three cats from the local rescue centre. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment and the owners have public liability insurance.
Apartment La Tarraula is only 2km (1.25m miles) from the Javea golf club and local restaurant but a car is recommended as the local roads do not have street lights nor pavements and the main towns of Javea and Moraira, with their beaches, shops and restaurants are 8km (5 miles)
Situated on a sheltered peninsula, the town of Javea is approximately an hours drive from both Valencia and Alicante airports, and so choosing a convenient and inexpensive flight from the U.K. is easy. Within a few minutes drive from the apartment, you have access to many bars, restaurants, shops as well as the popular Arenal beach area. From this location you can visit many well-known resorts such as Denia, Moraira and Calpe, as well as being able to drive into the mountains and explore unspoilt Spanish villages with spectacular views.
The price quoted is for a minimum of 4 weeks and includes and initial supply of linen, towels (including beach towels) and final clean. Electricity is measured on a meter and charged at 20p per unit (kwh).
